On January 16th, 2020, at the invitation of the President of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski, Honorary Consul Marian Skrzypiec participated for the first time in the New Year’s meeting of diplomats from Małopolska, which took place at Villa Decius.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Krakow thanked representatives of diplomatic corps for all-year cooperation and mentioned the greatest successes of Krakow on the international arena. At the same time, he noted that he was convinced that the new year would also bring fruitful cooperation between the capital of Lesser Poland and diplomatic units.
On behalf of diplomatic units, the dean of the Consular Corps in Krakow, Consul General of Hungary Adrienne Körmendy, spoke, who thanked the Cracow Governor for his favor and cordiality towards Krakow diplomats.
Currently, 35 consular units have their headquarters in Krakow. The youngest of them is the Honorary Consulate of Indonesia opened on November 19 last year.
