On January 15th, the Mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, held a New Year’s meeting with the diplomatic corps at Apteka Designu in Krakow. Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia, Marian Skrzypiec, attended the meeting at the Mayor’s invitation.
During the meeting, the Mayor summarized the past year, highlighting key facts and events, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic missions. He also noted that 40 consular offices are already operating in Krakow.
The Mayor also presented plans for the coming year and invited consulates to continue their cooperation.
During the meeting, invited guests had the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Carolina Pietyra, Director of the Krakow Festival Office, who discussed the location of this year’s New Year’s meeting – Apteka Designu (Design Appointment) and the Wesoła area.
New Year’s meetings for Krakow diplomats have been organized for many years and reinforce Krakow’s image as a city friendly to diplomats and foreigners.
