For over a month, Polish and foreign tourists could admire a unique exhibition in the Wieliczka Salt Mine. Indonesia: A Portrait of Diversity and Religious Harmony. This unique work was available to visitors of the Tourist Route 125 meters underground, in the Stanisław Staszic Chamber. On September 26, the closing ceremony of the exhibition was held, attended by the Honorary Consul of Indonesia, Marian Skrzypiec.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Indonesian diplomatic mission in Poland, headed by Ambassador Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, as well as other invited guests.
The ceremony was graced by a performance by the Polish-Indonesian gamelan orchestra Warsaw Gamelan Group, consisting of students and graduates, and a former employee of the Embassy of Indonesia in Warsaw, and by the performance of dancers Diah Anggraini Martin and Dennissee Peralta Matlingiewicz.
The exhibition „Indonesia: Portrait of Diversity and Religious Harmony” is a collection of works by students, journalists and photographers, who in their works showed extraordinary moments of diversity in beautiful regions of Indonesia.
The exhibition also includes photographs relating to the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to Poland in 1959 and the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
