On April 12th 2021 the digital edition of the world trade fair for industrial technologies Hannover Messe has started. In each edition, one country is distinguished as a Partner. This year, the Republic of Indonesia became the Official Partner country of the program.
Hannover Messe is an exhibition dealing with current issues in the field of technologies and solutions in the manufacturing industry, including the application of technology in the industrial revolution. The digital version of the fair will increase the chance of participants to connect with potential buyers while maintaining health protocols.
At the Hannover Messe 2021, Indonesia is represented by over 150 Indonesian companies. This group included large industrial enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMI) and startups, industrial estates, industrial associations, government-owned enterprises (BUMN), as well as ministries and institutions.
The Republic of Indonesia is the largest island state in the world, covering approximately 17,500 islands in an area of 1.9 million square kilometers. With a population of 260 million, it is the fourth most populous country in the world. The Republic of Indonesia is a founding member and one of the leading countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ASEAN (ASEAN).
Participation in the Hannover Messe not only makes Indonesia the first country in ASEAN, but also supports efforts to promote Indonesia’s position as one of the new powers in the global economy and global manufacturing players. At this big event, Indonesia will be able to show its vision of a domestic industry. The country has launched the „Making Indonesia 4.0” initiative to revitalize production by introducing the concept of Industrie 4.0.
The fair will last until April 16.
