The capital of Lesser Poland is a place that has long been associated with people of other nationalities. It is here that crowds of foreign students and professionally active people come and find employment. Finally, many tourists from all over the world come here, delighted with the climate and monuments of the City of Krak, who decide to live in this charming place. With the presence of foreigners, many cultures, customs and traditions permeate, which enriches local social relations, and at the same time opens native Cracovians to new cultural experiences. In order to use the potential of the presence of foreigners in Krakow, constant cooperation is necessary, aiming at getting to know each other and building a common identity.

The Villa Decius Association and the Internationaler Bund Polska Foundation, as the operator of the Multicultural Center in Krakow, in cooperation with the Villa Decius Institute of Culture and with the financial support of the City and Open Krakow, undertook the organization of the Multicultural Festival, in which they invite all residents to participate.
